Felt Applique Baby Clothes

I've been playing with felt a lot lately - wet felting, needle felting and felt applique. I bought a couple cheap sheets of synthetic felt from Jo-Ann and searched around for some fun ideas for baby clothes - I found lots of fun ideas and tried a few.

Caterpillars have become a theme around here so when I ran across this caterpillar shirt I knew I had to make one

I have such a cute model

I used fusible web and an iron to secure these to the shirts (that I had dyed with some dylon), I secured them on with some hand stitching (blanket stitch on the caterpillar)
